Dependency Radar is a Jira Cloud app that presents cross-squad dependency information using the customer’s existing Jira data. The app is a read-only presentation layer over Jira. It does not create, edit, sell, analyse for unrelated purposes, or commercially exploit customer data.

Data Access

Dependency Radar accesses only the Jira data needed to provide its dependency views and configuration features. This may include Jira project details, issue keys, issue summaries, statuses, issue links, link types, sprint or date fields, workflow status information, and app configuration settings.

This access is used only to generate Sprint view, Matrix view, dependency details, saved views, configuration screens, and support or troubleshooting information.

Data Storage

Dependency Radar does not store duplicate copies of Jira issues and does not maintain a separate dependency database.

The app stores only the configuration needed for the product to function, such as saved views, selected projects, dependency link mappings, sprint calendar settings, matrix period settings, status mappings, date-field preferences, and display preferences.

This configuration is stored using Atlassian Forge app storage and is scoped to the customer’s Jira site.

No External Data Collection

Dependency Radar does not send customer Jira data to an external backend, analytics platform, AI service, advertising service, or third-party data processor.

The app does not collect Atlassian passwords, API tokens, payment card details, private credentials, or personal data unrelated to the Jira issue and project context required for the app to operate.

Use Of Data

Customer data is used only to:

  • display cross-squad dependencies
  • calculate dependency risk indicators
  • place dependencies into Sprint and Matrix views
  • load and save app configuration
  • support customer troubleshooting requests

Customer data is not sold, shared for marketing, or used for purposes unrelated to operating the app.
